suggest survival rates INSANE

Folks on the green board have actually suggested that PW survial rates for pocket watches run close to 90%!

THIS IS INSANITY. The later the watch, the higher the survival rate; for the earlier watch companies, the rates drop drastically, Here is a classic example for an early --Henry Pitkin, reportedly 50 made, one known.

One thing to consider...and I quit reading this thread as it veered into the insane...is that they seem to include movements including junk movements (parts) as survived watches. The thread is just plain weird.
