I have two Walthams with very similar numbering on the dials, one of them a Packard "special".
I have just come across an unusual watch with almost identical numbering to the upper photo, but with a plain white face and the subsidiary seconds right at the bottom of the face. What is unusual about this (new) open face watch is that it has a screw front and (I believe) a clip back which I just cannot prise off! The fit of the back cover is so good I can't even get a fine bladed penknife into the crack.
I'm trying to guess what the watch is. Anyone have any ideas about the dial maker? Or is this style of numbering so common that they might be made by different makers? |

| My experience and opinion is that the PACKARD logo is legit and original for Hamiltons.......................a fellow in Fla reproduced logos for years on all types of 12 and 16s watches. The Packard Hamiltons had a presentation on the dust cover, usually. |
